About :"Greensleeves" is a traditional English song written for a "lady with green sleeves". It is said that it was composed by King Henry VIII in honour of Anne Boleyn. Just like many popular songs of the time, it was probably spread as a manuscript. The first version we know of dates from 1580, however, as no copy survived, its composer remains unknown.
