About :The 'Kreutzer Sonata' is the ninth of the ten sonatas Beethoven wrote for Violin and Piano, and certainly one of the most famous. This work was transcribed in the 19th century for two-Cello quintet, by an anonymous person-some people suspect it was the composer himself. This beautiful transcription was recorded here with the Quatuor Zaïde and Bruno Delepelaire, 1st principal Cello of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
