About :Lili Boulanger (1893-1918) is a French composer and the younger sister of the renowned composer and educator Nadia Boulanger. She died prematurely from an illness, but she nevertheless left a rather important and varied legacy made of orchestral, vocal and chamber music works, as well as piano pieces. She was the first woman to ever win the Grand Prix de Rome in 1913 and is now considered as one of the major female composers of the 20th century.
