About :La Mer (The Sea), subtitled Three Symphonic Sketches for Orchestra, is a symphonic work by Claude Debussy (1862 - 1918). It was premiered in 1905 in Paris by the Lamoureux Orchestra conducted by Camille Chevillard. It was completed during the composer's stay in Eastbourne.
