About :Yvonne Desportes (1907-1993) is a French composer and painter. She obtained the 1st Grand Prix de Rome in 1932 for her cantata 'Le Pardon'. Professor of solfège at the Paris Conservatory, she then taught fugue, counterpoint and composition from 1959 to 1978.
