About :Johann Nepomuk Hummel was an Austrian composer and pianist (1778 - 1837). As a student of Mozart, Haydn and Salieri, he is considered one of the finest concert pianists in Europe of his time. Though Hummel was mainly known for his trumpet concerto written in 1803 and his eight piano concertos, which received a critical acclaim at the time, most of his works were written for the piano.
