Rituels is collective work for choir and 13 instrumentalists. Performed by the French National Jazz Orchestra (ONJ), the album brings together 7 pieces composing a fantasy world in which time is like an eternal return. Co-composed by Frédéric Maurin, Ellinoa, Sylvaine Hélary, Leïla Martial and Grégoire Letouvet, this original repertoire is built around the notion of daily rituals and is freely inspired by ancient texts from folklore from different continents, taken from Jerome Rothenberg's collection 'Les Techniciens du sacré'.
