About :The Wordless Romances (Lieder ohne Worte) are short Piano pieces composed by Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847) at different times in his life. They were published in eight collections between 1830 and 1845, five of which were dedicated to women. Op.62 was composed between 1842 and 1844 and is dedicated to Clara Schumann. It contains the famous Frühlingslied ('Spring Song'), composed for Clara's birthday in 1842.
