About :Maurice Ravel’s Boléro is a ballet piece composed in 1928 and created the same year by its dedicatee at the Opéra Garnier, the Russian dancer Ida Rubinstein. Based on a theme with an immutable tempo, a rhythmical ostinato played by the snare drum, this peculiar piece which was considered as a simple orchestration study by Ravel has known success worldwide in a few months, making it its most well-known piece and it is still one of the most played classical music scores nowadays.
