About :Carl Reinecke (1824-1910) was a German romantic composer. He was director of the Gewandhaus orchestra in Leipzig, and trained many students at the University, including Janacek, Albeniz, Grieg, and Bruch. His concerto and ballad for flute are among the most important works in the instrument's repertoire.
