About : The flute sonatas were composed between 1715 and 1725, when Johann Sebastian Bach was the chamber music director for Prince Leopold of Köthen. The BWV catalogue contains twelve sonatas for flute, three of which were ultimately attributed to Carl Philip Emmanuel Bach.
