The Kreutzer Sonata, composed between 1802 and 1803 and dedicated to the French violinist Rodolphe Kreutzer (1766-1831), is one of Beethoven’s most famous piano and violin sonata. Made of three movements, it is also known to be the longest and the most difficult technically speaking.
