About : Frank Bridge (1879-1941) is the most important British composer of his generation. Trained at the Royal College of Music of London in violin and piano, he was awarded with a scholarship to study composition in 1899. He was praised for his quality as a conductor, having notably performed with the London Symphony Orchestra. He also taught composition to the famous Benjamin Britten.
