About :Chopin's Nocturnes, Op.9, are three romantic lyrical Nocturnes for solo Piano, composed between 1830 and 1832. They are dedicated to his pupil Marie Pleyel (one of the most famous virtuoso pianists of the nineteenth century, wife of his great friend Camille Pleyel, heir to the Pleyel Pianos, and founder of the Salle Pleyel in Paris). Nocturnes No.2 is one of the composer's best-known works.
