About :Designed as a cycle, Frederic Chopin's Preludes is a series of 24 short pieces. They are based on a variation in tonality, sometimes borrowing the characteristics of other genres such as mazurka or romance. Chopin's Preludes were inspired by Bach's 'Well-Tempered Clavier'. This is one of the masterpieces by the Romantic composer. Recorded during a recital by Claudio Arrau, given in Ludwigsburg on March 12, 1960, these Preludes come from an album by the SWR Music label, distributed by Naxos.
