About :Guillaume Costeley composed polyphonic vocal music in the 16th century. As an erudite, he was close to the French humanist poets and founded an influential poetry and music academy in 1570. 'Mignonne, allons voir si la Rose' (Darling, let’s go see if the rose) is an adaptation of the famous poem by Pierre de Ronsard.
