Alexandre Collard & Nicolas Royez
Paul Dukas (1865-1935) was a French composer. Being both perfectionist and demanding, he gave up many of his musical projects and only published a handful of his works. He is known for his symphonic poem "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", whose popularity eclipsed his other works. He was also a music critic, and became a professor of composition at the Paris Conservatory and the Ecole Normale de Musique towards the end of his life.
