    Frédéric Chatoux & Emmanuel Ceysson
Jacques Ibert (1890-1962) was an influential French composer from the first half of the 20th century. He had a unique style, unclassifiable, and was yet perceived as "genuinely French" by musicians such as Henri Dutilleux (1945). He was at the head of the French Academy in Rome (Villa Medici). Composed in 1935, "Entr'acte" (i.e. intermission) is a piece for flute and guitar or harp.
