About :Clément Janequin (ca. 1485-1558) was a French composer and priest, mostly famous for the polyphonic "chansons" he composed. He is regarded as one of the finest French masters of the first half of the 16th century, having composed over 400 pieces. He is most famous for his songs as he composed around 250, an amount only exceeded by Pierre Certon.
