Leo Portnoff (1875 in Kiev – 1940 in Miami, Florida) was a musician, teacher, and composer. He was a professor at the Stern Conservatory in Berlin from 1906 to 1915, and then at the University of Miami where he lived until the end of his life. He is particularly famous for his short, easy pieces which are played in many music schools all over the world.
