About : El Choclo (corn, in Spanish) is a famous Argentine tango by the Argentinean composer Ángel Villoldo, and was first published in 1903 in Buenos Aires. Angel Villoldo composed tangos to get enough to eat, and this is why he would have chosen the name of one of the ingredients of the puchero (a traditional Argentine stew made from corn flour) as a title. The song has also been covered by many artists, including Carlos Gardel, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Billy Eckstine, Julio Iglesias and others...
