John Wilbye (1594-1638) was an English madrigal composer who wrote pieces such as "Weep, O Mine Eyes" or "Adieu, Sweet Amaryllis". A madrigal is a polyphonic vocal work sang acapella and which was developped mostly during the Renaissance. (Recording produced with the support of the Cité de la Voix and the Orange Foundation)
