About : Eugène Ysaÿe (1858-1931) was a Belgian violinist, composer and conductor. “A Child’s Dream” op.14 was published in 1901 and is a lullaby dedicated to the Ysaÿe’s youngest son, Antoine, that he composed on a tour. It has also been recorded by Ysaÿe himself, taking advantage of the very beginning of music recording.
